The Purpose of Strike 3 Forums

Strike 3 Forums was born April 1st 2005 from a gang of misfits and outcasts, so it was only fitting that the site's creation day would be on
April Fool's Day. All kidding aside, S3F was founded with the purpose of developing the premiere forum on the net to discuss baseball. We
realize that an achievement like that takes a lot of hard work, a focused concept and most importantly, some really great members. With S3F
seeing several improvements to the forum experience over it’s first year, an obvious strict emphasis on what game we feel a passion for and an ever-growing core of members, we feel like we are continually making strides to achieve our goal.

We strive to make S3F an immersive experience. We want our site and our community to feel like the next closest thing to being at the ballpark, because that is the ideal place we wish we were for every game. So whether it’s discussing the latest trade, ranting or raving about how the day’s lineup is constructed to discussing the game at a fantasy or simulation level, there is bound to be something for everyone to have an opinion about. Because that’s what is unique about going to a game, meeting fans of all ages and philosophies regarding the game but all share the common bond of love for the game. That’s why we like to simply say “This Is Our Passion.” If you’re a baseball fan, you’re going to understand that without any explanation needed, it’s something we all share.
